Qualifications from the commercial sector are now, without a doubt, beginning to replace the more academic tracks into the IT industry - but why is this the case? All programs you're considering must provide a commercially valid qualification at the finale - not some little 'in-house' piece of paper. Only fully recognised certification from the likes of Microsoft, CompTIA, Adobe and Cisco will be useful to a future employer.
